After of almost a month of screening on who will the first-ever Dove's Showeroke King/Queen, we're now down to seven finalists.

And last Tuesday, June 22, at Strumms in Jupiter, Makati, Dove finally hailed the first-ever Showeroke King/Queen.

Manila Beer rocks Manila Day!

As Manilenos celebrate the 439th founding anniversary of the City of Manila comes a new breed of beer that you will surely never forget - the Manila Beer.

It's about time, I guess, to take pride for the return this of beer with its new 100 percent malt that'll be taking the country by storm.

Though, I didn't catch some of the performers, the launching of Manila Beer on Manila Day at Rajah Sulayman Park at Malate, Manila was full of awesome performers that awakens the night of the "now" peaceful Manila.


With the performance from Sandwich, Pedicab, Diego, Rico Blanco, Hotdog, Parokya ni Edgar, Up Dharma Down, Spongecola, 6cyclemind, Callalily, Kamikazee, Chicosci, Radio Aactive Sago and Gen. Luna, almost the whole Roxas Boulevard was closed to accommodate all the spectators.

Taste the dream at O’Sonho

If there’s a cuisine in the world that we can say resembles to our own Filipino cuisine, that’ll be the European cuisine. But, as well know, European cuisine is still divided into a lot of parts that really made the whole of Europe a haven when it comes to art of food. And one of the cuisines that really stands out and world –renowned is the Portuguese cuisine.

Famous from their simple ingredient but very distinct taste, did you know that you can have an intimate Portuguese dining experience here in Metro Manila. Eastwood Mall is very proud to say that O’sonho is now open!

O’sonho which means “The Dream” is the latest offering of Eastwood Mall in Libis, Quezon City.

And last night, I had a great experience dining at this very new place. *wink*

The prices are not that bad given the quality and quantity of food they serve.

ToyCon 2010

They're getting bigger and better as Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectible Convention celebrated their 9th year at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall!

Who doesn't love toys, right? May it be for girl, boy, bakla at tomboy, you can find it here at the 9th ToyCon! And really, at this age, I enjoyed it as much as the kids who went there to shop for their favorite cartoon characters at a very low price, watch their favorite cartoon and online game charters played by the cosplayers who competed for the best cosplayers of the Toycon 2010 and mingle with their fellow toy collectors to learn what's cool and hot about toys and other collectibles.

I heART Makati!

I've been working here in Makati for more than five years now, and to be honest with you, I'm one of those photo enthusiasts who are really eager to take photos of the sky-scrapping buildings here. Unfortunately, for some security reasons, taking photos of these work-of-arts are prohibited.

Well... Not until last Saturday! Hahahahahahahahaha!

I was one of the lucky few (again!) who were invited to join the "I heART Makati, I heART the Philippines, I heART Being FREE" photo contest. In this contest, we were allowed to take pictures of these wonderful buildings, landscapes and man-made gardens that made this place the central business district of the Metropolis.

Though, I'm not a photographer myself, (that's why I feel so lucky that day) I got a chance to join on this contest and appreciate Makati's Central Business District on a quiet Saturday morning.

Geared with nothing but my Sony camera, which felt really nothing compared to the DSLRs of the professional photographers and some amateur photographers who were there, I went straight to Ayala Triangle Garden to register my name and prepared for this fun and exciting photo walk in Makati.

Eden Cheese Brought Home the Bacon!

It’s official!

Kraft Eden Cheese now holds the Guinness World Record for the Most Different Dishes on Display. With the gracious help of Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA), they just beat India, gaining another Guinness World Record for our country. Yey!

It was India who first had this record with 4, 668 dishes displayed, but last December 14, 2009, Kraft Food Philippines and MIHCA amazed the whole world with their 5,845 cheese-infused dishes, and it only took six months until Guinness World Records officially announces that the Philippines is now the record holder for this title. Whoopee!

I was one of the lucky few who witnessed when Kraft Foods and MIHCA prepared these 5,845 dishes, and I was so grateful to be there at Araneta Coliseum during that time because even though I was just one of the spectators, it felt like I was part of the whole success of this dream. My 27th Birthday Cake.

I didn't plan anything on my birthday - well, maybe except that I wanna attend a mass at Baclaran that day - but I'm so glad that thay day turned out so well like I planned it all! God is really good to me, I  know. :-)


I always love having a cake on my birthday.


On my 25th birthday, I remember, my superfriends prepared something really cool for me. They bought 24 little tart-cakes and one bigger cake, and each tart-cake had a candle that I had to blow. We had dinner that night at Gerry's Grill at SM Mall of Asia, and after that fun dinner, they took me to the seaside area where concrete blocks were placed to serve as seats. There, they opened a box containing their gifts to me, 24 cute little tart-cakes and one a little bigger cake. They arranged it til it looked like this.

My 27th Birthday!

Gahd! I'm tooooooo old! Ugh!
Hahaha! Well, I'm happy, so who cares about the numbers, eh? Heheh.


Last night, one of my wishes was to have some peace of mind. And God is, indeed, really good. He granted my wish. Since school days starts rolling and my parents had some appointment with their doctors, I have the whole house by myself whole morning til afternoon! Hahaha! Thank you, God! You're the best!


Then, 3pm came, I left home to attend a mass in Baclaran Church. And since my birthday falls on Wednesday, I'm expecting a jam-packed Baclaran Church, but when I got there, I got inside the church easily and listened to mass peacefully. Again, thank you, God! You are really the best!


As I was about to leave Baclaran Church, my aunt called me and said that she on her way to Becky's Kitchen. Wee! We met there and she bought me a nice and very delicious Coffee Cream Cake! Thank you, Tita Zeny! Muah! I love the cake!

Early summer, NESCAFE Soundskool kicked off their search for the country’s Best College Band at SM Megamall with their NESACFE 3in1 Soundskool Bus. A mobile recording studio which visited selected universities to record instant entries for NESCAE 3in1 Soundskool 2010.
