SM San Lazaro's 3-Day Sale!

As the Chinese community celebrates the delicious Moon Cake Festival, here at SM San Lazaro, aside from the exciting treats to our fellow Chinese-Filipino, they are also having the annual 3-Day Sale, which gives up to 70% discount on selected items!

Today, I was able to visit this mall again to do my monthly supermarket chores, and with excitement embraces me the moment I saw the welcoming band at the entrance, I began my "me" time by exploring the other parts of the mall first.

It is so nice to know that this mall that is really close to our home here in Tondo has finally evolved into this very convenient and relaxing spot. For those who have kids, I'm sure the whole family can enjoy the World of Fun that is now open at the north part, lower ground floor of SM San Lazaro.

Or have you been suffering hair lost problem like I do? Well, guess what, last weekend I visited this newly opened salon down south of  the metropolis that is offering this all-natural hair treatment that is made by Singapore's Bee Choo Herbal Treatment brand -the name of the salon, Taylor Tyler Herbal Hair Spa and Salon.

Peacefully and poshly located at the second level of Pergola Mall in Aguirre Avenue, BF Homes, Paranaque, Taylor Tyler Herbal Hair Spa and Salon is the first and only spa and salon company in the country that offers this amazing and 100% chemical-free hair treatment. Kung Fu Kitchen, Tokyo Grill and Seafood Island: Three Reasons to Visit SM Manila

SM Manila holds a very dear place to my heart, to be honest. This place has been a witness to my hardship back in college, that's why going back here to see how the place evolves now, is somehow a fulfilling feeling to me. Fellows, here are three reason to visit (if you haven't been here) or re-visit (if haven't been here for a long time, like me) SM ManilaKung Fu Kitchen, Tokyo Grill and Blackbeard's Seafood Island.

Last September 16, as the Chinese calendar marks the end of Ghost Month, three new spectacular and amazing themed-restaurants opened their doors to give SM Manila patrons a tummy-filling Manila City experience that would make them crave again and again.

Started at exactly 10 in the morning, the celebration for these three newly opened stores started with a blessing that made everyone feel sanctified and in harmony on that Sunday morning. From Tokyo Grill, to Kung Fu Kitchen to Blackbeard's Seafood Island, the facilitating priest happily blessed the three stores as well as the guests, staff and owners Marvin Agustin and Raymund Magdaluyo.

Ready to glam up our Sunday in a very unique and festive market experience, Legazpi Sunday Market in Makati prepares this Sunday and the three succeeding Sundays to a fun-filled and learning Sunday as they share to us the first and biggest artisanal market of its kind in the Philippines. The said activities include grilling competitions, adobo festival, dance and cocktail events, and even biking workshops highlighting Makati’s landscape as a city that boasts of accessibility.

One "Complete" Morning with Mikael Daez

Have you seen the latest Centrum TV commercial? The one with this cute moreno guy in blue shirt, flashing his uber sexy jaw line and killer smile? Well, he was first introduced in Marian Rivera's show Amaya, and now, he's one of the leads of GMA show Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga. Boys, girls, baklas and tomboys, here's my one "complete" day with Mikael Daez.

Recently named as an ambassador of peace by the "I am for Peace" campaign of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPPA), and Cosmo Magazine's 2012 Hunk, I was lucky to spend a morning with Mikael together with his manager and the one and only hot mama writer of Manila Bulletin, Miss Maan Pamaran. *wink*

Hailing from Ateneo De Manila University, this Blue Eagle hunk started as an hot item on the runway of Philippine Fashion Week. But come 2011, Mikael stepped up his game as he started taking TV roles given to him by his mother network, GMA. He already stared in almost 5 shows in GMA, and also in 1 movie where he played a lead role alongside Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Rufa Mae Quinto, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff and John Lapus.

Justice Within Reach with Small Claims Court

Through the great efforts of the Supreme Court special rule of procedure to help our fellow Filipino to air their grievances and fight for their rights conveniently in a more affordable platform, the justice system shares its solution via the Small Claims Court.

In a press conference, which was held at Makati last week, Supreme Court administrator Midas Marquez explained that the Supreme Court hopes to increase the access to justice of indigent and disadvantaged Filipinos through the inexpensiveness, accessibility and expediency of the Small Claims Court.

This program is a pioneering effort of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) to improve access to justice for indigent Filipinos and has been in effect since October 2008.

Marriott Hotel Manila Cooking With a Heart

I've been covering events for Marriot Hotel Manila for years and believe it or not, it was just last week when I learned that they things like this - a gathering that not only shares their bountifulness but also melts other people's heart once they get involved with it. So yeah, my heart was melted when I joined the fun and excitement of their annual Mariott Hotel Cooking with a Heart.

Twenty international chefs, 200 pupils, one school - that's what we had that morning at Timoteo Paez Elementary School in Pasay City. With almost 7 kiddie dishes steaming and ready to serve, Marriott Manila held their Corporate Social Responsibility, which is also known as Spirit to Serve.

In cooperation with Philippine National Red Cross and the City of Pasay, 200 pupils from Grades 2 and 3 feasted on the delicious party meals that the 20 international Marriott chefs cooked up for this Cooking with a Heart project.

But before these cute and active little kids enjoy the meals that their about to partake, they were then entertained first by one of their cute and so talented classmate who shared his rendition of American Idol's songs "What About Now?"
