Solaire Resort: Let the Game Starts Now!

If there's a thing that I will never forget after spending a day at the newest and grandest gaming spot in town now, that is everything seemed to be in order, systematic and made to perfection. Solaire Resort is indeed a breath of fresh air to every gamer not only in the country but to the whole world, and with its refreshing modern take on architectural design, design and accommodation, this just show that it's more fun in the Philippines!

Last day, together with selected digital media personalities, I was able to see for the first time the much-awaited and talked-about property built by Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Incorporated (formerly Bloombury Investments Holdings Inc) headed by maritime port magnate Enrique K. Razon Jr., chairman of Manila-based company, International Container Terminal Services Incorporated.

Solaire Resort, the company’s flagship property, is a USD $1.0 Billion integrated destination resort on an 8.3-hectare site in Manila, Philippines and will be the first to open in the government sponsored (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) economic development zone known as Entertainment City.

We were able to take a peak at Solaire's Phase 1, and according to accommodating staff and heads that toured us around, this will feature 500 luxurious rooms, suites and bay side villas, 18,500 square meters of gaming space, a host of signature restaurants, bars and lounges, and a multilevel car park.

Solaire is set to change the game, primarily the Manila tourism game with its approximately luxuriously appointed rooms that offer sophistication in a glamorous yet comfortable setting. The Resort Villas range from 600 square meters to 1,000 square meters each, with a majestic view of the Manila Bay sunset - which is really the inspiration of the properties whole architectural design.

Populating the interior beauty of Solaire is an unparalleled gaming experience for those looking to add a little luck to their lives. I was really impressed to see Solaire's nearly 300 gaming tables featuring Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and other favorites, as well as 1,200 of the most popular slot machines all situated in a way the the whole gaming area is still breathable and have lots of room for extra movements and cheers. As for the VIP treatment, there are no less than 6,000 square meters of premium VIP gaming salons made meticulously fit to the discriminating taste of their special guests.

And to cap a successful day at their exquisite gaming tables, Solaire just have eight distinct dining options guaranteed to please any palette. The headliners of this group are Solaire’s four signature, fine dining restaurants: Red Lantern, Yakumi, Finestra and Strip. For a more casual atmosphere Lucky Noodles, Fresh buffet and Food Court are offering up delicious dishes from across the globe 24/7. Eclipse and Dragon Bar are serving up cocktails and entertainment to kick start any evening out.

I was able to try Fresh and Finestra that day, and I'm hats off to Finestra - an Italian-cuisine restaurant that is simply perfect for that lovely sunset view. So romantic, believe me!

And finally, for those looking at the relaxing side of a their stay, Solaire's spa facility, resort style pool (coming this May 2013) and stunning views of the Manila Bay sunsets will provide an experience that will rejuvenate the weariest of guests.

By the way, the name Solaire is a French word, which means breeze from the sun, is inspired by the famed spectacular sunset and breeze of our very own Manila Bay.

Oh, I can't wait to check out their rooms! And even though I know that I can't afford to spend a night day, I'm just wishing that some Santa will grant me a free stay there - for my birthday? Hahaha!
