Trellis – Thank God, it’s our Neighbour

With the hustle and bustle of the busy city of Makati, traffic is not the only problem you’ll encounter here. Wait, till lunchtime comes and witness the long lines that await you in every food joint and restaurant in this city.

That’s one of the major issues I’m encountering since I started working here in Makati. And most of the time, I spent my entire day here in Makati, so I somehow get used to this craziness.

Well, that of course with the help of some friendly stores, like Jolli-jeep (a sari-sari store/carenderia stalls here in Makati), my super love 24/7 McDonalds and the always happy Jollibee.

But sometimes I can’t help but to long to my Ermats home-cooked meals, so I always make sure that I’ll have someone’s home-cooked meal if time and budget permits me. And really, thank God that Trellis is just around the corner from where I’m working.

I and my officemate Rio loved their Pork Sisig so much! One cup of rice isn’t really enough for this dish. Hahaha!
Sisig
Trellis Meals – Php125.00

Trellis is like Dencio’s and Gerry’s, the only difference, I think, was the price. I believe that here in Trellis, their dishes are quite affordable compare to the two I mentioned. They have Trellis Meals that suits any employee’s budget.

Trellis meals come with soup and a glass of Iced Tea.

And if you wanna try some sweets, no worries, because their desserts are affordable too -- Filipino dishes at a very pocket friendly price!

I had Leche Flan and Rio had Buko Salad.
Leche Flan – Php50.00
Buko Salad – Php70.00

And if you feel hanging out with your officemates after work, they are offering beers, too. Relax and release all those tensions away!

Truly, nothing beats Filipino dishes when it comes to presentation, taste and the warmth that they gave to someone’s heart.

I haven't eaten at Trellis for the longest time :) I think the last time was during my college years. Missing it!
