YOSHIKI-Produced girl group Bi-ray美麗 Makes History at Dodger Stadium
In a stunning pre-debut achievement, YOSHIKI-produced girl group Bi-ray 美麗 made their international live performance debut by delivering a breathtaking rendition of the U.S. national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner”, at Dodger Stadium during the MLB official game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins, held on Japanese Heritage Night on 28 April.
The crowd erupted into applause as Bi-ray’s four members — Emi, Hinata, Cocomi, and Michelle— filled the stadium with rich, soaring harmonies in front of tens of thousands of fans.
"Singing the U.S. national anthem at Dodger Stadium before our official debut felt like a dream," the group shared. "We were nervous, but YOSHIKI's support gave us the strength to own the stage."
Bi-ray is quickly rising as a force to watch in the global music scene. Member Emi first caught YOSHIKI’s eye after winning the 2023 NTV singing competition “Kasyou 歌唱王”, and the group was formed soon after under his direction. Their performance video of “Butterfly (Short Version)” has already surpassed 15 million views on YouTube, signalling explosive interest even before their formal debut.
With YOSHIKI actively preparing their global launch, a major announcement is expected soon.
The ascent of Bi-ray, delivering a 'beautiful shock' to the world, has only just begun. There’s no doubt that their voices will continue to captivate audiences around the globe.
