ONE OR EIGHT Signs Global Major Label Deal with Atlantic Music Group, Releasing “365” on 18 June
ONE OR EIGHT is making global waves – and now they’ve sealed the deal. The breakout eight-member group has officially signed with Atlantic Music Group, one of the top U.S. music labels, becoming one of the first Japanese acts to ink a major global deal at this scale. Their debut single under this new partnership, titled “365”, drops 18 June (midnight JST), and it's set to be their biggest moment yet.
The heartfelt track, co-written by hitmaker Nasri (Justin Bieber, MAGIC!), blends an emotionally resonant chorus with a simple, striking beat — a love song built for every day of the year.
Since their debut, ONE OR EIGHT has worked with global music heavyweights including Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean, building a sound that’s globally resonant.
Their previous release “DSTM” made waves for being the first-ever officially approved sample of Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop The Music”, which itself sampled Michael Jackson. The track charted in 14 countries, surpassed 10M music video views, and broke ground as the first Japanese boy group to enter Mediabase’s U.S. Top 40, peaking at #36 – just 10 months after debut. The group also appeared on an unprecedented 11 episodes across 7 major Korean music programs – a historic feat for a Japanese boy group.
This moment marks a significant step for J-POP on the global stage, with ONE OR EIGHT leading the way and reflecting the growing demand for cross-cultural music experiences in the U.S. and beyond.
Earlier in April, the group’s “SHŪKAI” fan meeting tour spanned five cities across North and Latin America, drawing thousands of fans. With overwhelming international demand, new fan meetings have been announced in Thailand and Japan.
With “365”, which symbolises the desire to be by the side of a loved one every single day and reflects the group’s journey with their fans so far, ONE OR EIGHT continues to chart a new path for J-pop’s global expansion – bringing their fans along for the journey, one day at a time.
