Japanese Boyband LIL LEAGUE Releases Music Video for New Single ‘Shigeki-Saiyusen’!
Japanese boyband LIL LEAGUE have released a music video for their upcoming new single ‘Shigeki-Saiyusen’, due for physical release on January 8, 2025. The song, which is available now on download and streaming services, features aggressive rapping in Japanese, English and Korean over tracks that gleefully cross genre boundaries, from drum and bass to vintage soul. This energetic tune is packed to bursting with the vibes and groove that only this group with an average age of 17 could bring.
In the music video, the members of LIL LEAGUE give a performance filled with humour in unique and unusual spaces. This lively video interprets the vibe of the song through its indoor locations that are sometimes psychedelic, including an area that recalls the red background of the group’s current artist photo.
LIL LEAGUE are a six-member boyband from Japan with an average age of 17. The members are highly skilled dancers, singers and rappers. The group was named LIL LEAGUE to reflect their desire to convert their youthful energy into positive momentum and vibes.
The six members were discovered among 48,000 male and female entrants at iCON Z 2022 ~Dreams For Children~, the largest audition in the history of Japanese music agency LDH. They made their major-label debut on January 11, 2023 with the single ‘Hunter’. The group rounded off their debut year by winning a New Artist Award at 2023’s Japan Record Awards.
