Indonesia's Beloved Kenangan Coffee Opens First Store in SM Mall of Asia
Kenangan, which is an Indonesian word for Memento or Memories, has been turned into a household name with the launch of a local Indonesian coffee stall in 2017, Kenangan Coffee. Now, as it continues to expand in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia, Kenangan Coffee has finally reached the Philippine shore with the opening of its first store today, November 12, in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
“We are excited to welcome Kenangan Coffee to the Fredley Group family. This partnership reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, diverse dining experiences to the Filipino market. We believe Kenangan Coffee’s unique flavors will resonate with local coffee lovers, and we’re thrilled to be part of its growth in the country,” shared Avin Ong, Founder & CEO of Fredley Group of Companies.
Kenangan Coffee, which is established by Fredley Group of Companies (FGC), has been renowned for its premium locally sourced beans and its signature Kenangan Latte, a creamy and smoky drink with a distinct flavor from black aren (palm sugar). This new addition to the Philippine coffee scene offers a fresh, indulgent option for coffee enthusiasts.
Along with the Kenangan Latte, the brand also offers a variety of expertly crafted beverages and an assortment of delicious pastries to complement each cup including CReamy Latter, Salted Caramel Macchiato, Mocha, and Avocado Coffee.
“We’re delighted to partner with Fredley Group of Companies, a brand known for its quality and customer satisfaction. We’re confident that Filipinos will fall in love with the distinct taste of Kenangan Coffee, and we’re eager to expand our presence here,” added Edward Tirtanata, CEO and co-founder of Kenangan Coffee.
While it's first store is still hot, Kenangan Coffee is already planning to expand its presence across the Philippines with the opening of branches in SM East Ortigas, SM Megamall, SM Bicutan, SM Baguio and SM North EDSA, including flagship stores that will offer an elevated café experience. So, yeah, watch out for that!
