Explore the Realms in Offline Mode – Available Now
Today, Inflexion Studios released Update 0.3 of their survival crafting game Nightingale, which includes the game’s highly-requested
offline mode. Alongside offline mode, Update 0.3 implements the
build-from-storage option, dynamic tiered creatures, new Bound enemies, a
community event and much more.
Offline
mode is perfect for solo play and allows players to explore the Realms without
an internet connection, even during server maintenance. As a “version 1” of
offline mode, several other features are in development to complement the
initial release, including cloud saves, character migration from online mode
and continuous performance enhancements. Stay tuned for these updates in the
coming months!
Version 0.3 also introduces the build-from-storage function, which streamlines construction. Players can also face new tiered creatures whose drops and unique looks adapt to Realm difficulty. Furthermore, players can take on new varieties of Bound enemies, tackle new questlines and try an updated early-game experience with the option to skip tutorial and choose a starter character loadout.
To celebrate the update, a special community event is now live in Nightingale! Head to the vendor beside Sasse in your Abeyance Realm, then collect new Hopeful Essence from Wisps to trade for event rewards.
“Since the Early Access launch, we’ve been hard at work implementing feedback and creating a better player experience overall,” said Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Inflexion Games, “The introduction of offline mode is a significant milestone in the Early Access journey and one of many exciting updates we have planned for the coming months. We already feel like we’ve come along leaps and bounds since we launched just three months ago and we look forward to sharing more updates in the future.”
