Blxst Teams Up With Remble For Uplifting Single "child of GOD"

Grammy-nominated Platinum artist Blxst continues to fire on all cylinders this summer, unveiling a new single today with LA’s rising rapper Remble. Premiered exclusively on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music 1, the duo have joined forces on the inspiring choral collab, “child of GOD,” out now on Red Bull Records/Evgle. The track touches on the duality of human existence, from adversity to freedom, and divinity to destruction.

Blxst shares, “I think the Remble feature highlights the dichotomy of good and evil. We're both speaking from a perspective of imperfection, we're born sinners and we’re touching on that in a tasteful way. This song is embracing that fact, being imperfect makes you a child of God, makes us all human, makes us all relatable.”

The single follows a string of releases from Blxst recently, including the Top 30 radio joint “West Coast Weekend'' with Tyga & YG, “Exit 9” on Killer Mike’s acclaimed album, and the Apple Music Juneteenth Exclusive Cover of 50 Cent’s hit, “21 Questions.” His latest EP, 'Just For Clarity 2', also dropped earlier this year, amassing 50 million streams and counting. The project spawned the Urban & Rhythm radio single, “Passionate (feat. Roddy Ricch)” which peaked at #18 on Mediabase Rhythmic and #20 on Billboard Rap Airplay charts. The track also received support from Apple Music across Asia and garnered airplay on numerous top radio stations in Southeast Asia. As a result, the Philippines and Indonesia became among his top 15 highest-listening countries.

Crossing over into the sports space, Blxst has been at the center of multiple NBA activations including his own curated soundtrack for NBA 2K23 Season 7 in May, and a performance at NBA Con in Las Vegas last week, hosted by Amazon Music.
