Shoppers Races to Robinsons Appliances’ 2023 Race to a Minute in Galleria South, Laguna

Race to a Minute 2023 by Robinsons Appliances has been an exciting event for gaming enthusiasts. Four Robinsons Malls have reopened with 60-second challenges to win over PHP 2 million worth of appliances and gadgets. The event features six pit stops where competitors race to complete 60-second tasks to win appliances and gadgets. The race is held in four regions, and each region has four teams. All players are guaranteed to go home with prizes worth up to PHP 220,000.

We’re very excited that we’re are finally at the last leg of Race to a Minute, and we’re very delighted to have it here in the beautiful Robinsons Galleria South in San Pedro City, Laguna. Race to a Minute hosts Elisse Joson and Turs Daza with Robinsons Appliances Executives

Since it was launched in 2017, Robinsons Appliances shoppers are excitedly waiting for this annual event where chosen participants from the four major regions in the Philippines will take home amazing prizes and each team had two members who took turns completing each task. They had 60 seconds to complete each challenge set by the hosts. The race started on March 5, 2023, at Robinsons Valencia, Bukidnon.

First place winners were Ma. Helen Aranguez and Cres Lithel Gem Aranguez, a duo from Tagum Davao, who won PHP 218,000 in prizes. Second-place winners were Ram Anthony Liwag and Kirk Tagaling, friends from Misamis Oriental, who brought home PHP 153K worth of appliances and gadgets. Third place went to Almahdi Alonto and Amari Alonto, energetic siblings from Iligan City who won PHP 118,000 worth of Robinsons Appliances goodies. And lastly, Manuel Manlisik Jr. and Joseph Handayan were in fourth place, which earned them PHP 100K worth of prizes.

“After the pandemic put a halt to this exciting gathering, we made sure that this year’s Race to a Minute will be something to look forward to, not only for its participants but also for mall shoppers of Robinsons Malls. Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao have already felt this year’s generous prizes, so it’s time for our GMA shoppers to battle it out and take home these wonderful appliances and gadgets we’ve prepared for them,” Ms. San Luis added.

Joining the last leg of Race to a Minute are MYX VJ Turs Daza and celebrity-mom Elisse Joson, who will host the entire race this Saturday.

Race to a Minute in Robinsons Galleria Cebu (Visayas) last March 11, 2023

The second leg was held on March 11, 2023, at Robinsons Galleria, Cebu. Eleanor Marie Valencia and Rodney Paul Bastona from Negros took home PHP 198K worth of prizes as first-place winners. Rudylen Laurente and Nica Arabella Laurente from Dumaguete followed the duo closely, winning second place with PHP 180K worth of appliances and gadgets. Tacloban natives Alexander and Donnabel Lim got third place and won PHP 120K worth of Robinsons Appliances goodies. To wrap up the Cebu leg, Melvin Meredores and Rolando Anabieza were crowned fourth place, workmates from Ormoc that brought home PHP 91K worth of prizes.

The third leg happened on March 18, 2023, on Tuguegarao soil, right at Robinsons Tuguegarao. Gilbert Roldan and Jennifer Roldan were first-place winners, taking home PHP 206K worth of Robinsons Appliances items. Sheila Ramos and Sheri Sapitan placed second, winning PHP 160K worth of Robinsons Appliance goodies. James Benedict De Galicia and Madonna Latigo earned PHP 115K worth of products for third place. Josephine Brual and Robert Diaz shared PHP 108K worth of Robinsons Appliances prizes.

Race to a Minute is composed of six (6) pitstops wherein players must finish assigned tasks within the 60-second timeframe. Each pitstop will test each member’s physical and mental capabilities. Guided by a race card, each team will race to each pitstop where they will get a clue card to solve each task. The earliest time they reach the next pitstop, the higher chance of receiving the highest-valued prize. A total of PHP2 million worth of appliances and gadgets will be given away during the entire duration of Race to a Minute.

Race to a Minute in Robinsons Tuguegarao (Luzon) last March 18, 2023

The final leg of Race to a Minute was held on March 25, 2023, at Robinsons Galleria South. The first-place winners were Marvin Chua and Martin Chua, brothers from Paco Manila, who won PHP 190K worth of appliances and gadgets. They were followed by Nathaniel Trinidad and Don German Crisostomo, friends from Malabon City, who also received PHP 190K. Vicresan Borras and Adelsan Borras placed third in the relay and earned PHP 118K worth of items. And finally, a mother-son duo, Emiden Santillan and Ronald Santillan, from Caloocan, took home PHP 91K worth of items.

In addition to winning appliances and gadgets, each team also received PHP 2,000 worth of GoRewards Points.
