Pico De Loro Cove Lights Up the Holidays with Loro-inspired Christmas Decorations

Sharing the best balance of both nature and manmade developments, the country's prime summer destination, Pico de Loro Cove at Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas ushers the most exciting and colorful Holidays Season with a heart-warming and truly sustainable and creative Christmas Tree lighting ceremony last November 26, 2022.

Dubbed as the “A Holly Jolly Holiday", Pico de Loro Cove lighted up its 30-feet Christmas Tree at the Pico Beach led by Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club Chairwoman Ms. Elizabeth T. Sy; Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club President Ms. Rita Dy; SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation Senior Vice President for Operations Mr. Walid Wafik; and Costa del Hamilo Vice President for Project Development Ms. Imee Francisco.

Symbolizing joy and positivity, the Pico bird-inspired Christmas Tree was handmade and used materials locally sourced by a small team led by Pico de Loro Cove’s very own Housekeeping Supervisor and Chief Designer Mr. Florencio Garcia together with the Engineering team led by Chief Engineer Paul King. 

"We're delighted to light up our Christmas Tree again with everyone gathered around and enjoying the forthcoming season. We hope that through this initiative, we will continue to give light to one another and serves as an inspiration to more people who come and visit Pico de Loro Cove," Ms. Dy shared.

Pico de Loro Cove's Housekeeping Team

During switching on ceremony, stage and film actor Vien King serenaded guests with holiday music. The program was also highlighted by a ceremonial gift giving for Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. headed by Ms. Jennalyn Platon, who received the proceeds from the sale of the festive Green Christmas products which were all handcrafted by the Housekeeping Team.

"As we usher a the coming Holidays, we hope that all guest who come and visit Pico de Loro Cove will have a wonderful time experiencing its natural beauty that provides relaxation and enjoyment at the same time," SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation Senior Vice President for Operations Mr. Walid Wafik shared.

Guests during that day get to see and purchase other holiday decorations displayed at the hotel and Beach and Country Club. These were all carefully handcrafted using natural products that are reusable and found in the cove. As a special treat, cocktails specially prepared by the culinary team headed by Executive Sous-Chef Charles Marinduque were also served to guest while enjoying the festive ambiance and music of the celebration.
