IKEA Philippines Release "Us & Our Planet" Book, Showcases "This is How We Live" Exhibit
In its continues effort to inspire Filipino families to innovate sustainably, IKEA Philippines officially launches it's "Us & Our Planet" published by Phaidon. This books aims to share how people across the globe today are creating happier, healthier, and more sustainable ways of living. The book showcased homes, workplaces, and shared spaces that IKEA visited from Mexico to Moscow, Bali to Beirut – shining a light on the small things people can do to make the planet we share a little better.
Since its establishment in 1950, IKEA has been making home visits all around the world to capture valuable learnings from how people live their life. The book is structured around six thematic chapters: Time, Space, Food, Play, Rest, and togetherness. Through these themes, IKEA shares sustainable living, ideas, innovation, and the reality of everyday life – all to inspire and show that together, even small actions can add up to powerful changes.
Along with the launch of "Us & Our Planet", IKEA Philippines also featured Filipino life through its "This is How We Live" Exhibit. This photo exhibit let us take a peek at different life at home stories from different parts of the world, including Filipino life stories from IKEA Philippines' first "This is How We Live" contest winners.
