Taal Vista Hotel Welcomes 2021 Holidays with New Activities & Treats!

Just as how the South African poet Keorapetse Kgositsile would say it: “When the clouds clear we shall know the colour of the sky.” The country's premier hotel destination, Taal Vista Hotel, has proven time and time again that it can withstand any calamities and crisis as long as there are people who are longing to spend time with their family and friends in the comforting and scenic Tagaytay City.


This year, as all businesses around the globe bounce back from the challenges brought about the spread of COVID-19, the tourism industry, primarily the hotel industry in the Philippines, slowly and safely transition to a Sustainable Tourism, wherein guests are not just treated as clients just but as families who will look for one another now matter what happen.


For Taal Vista, after the devastation brought about by the eruption of Taal Volcano and lock down due to the spread of COVID-19 in 2020, resilience has been the hotel's greatest armour bringing much more triumph and joy as they welcome this year's Yuletide cheers with hope, love and some more joy.


As hotel aficionados start to go out from the comfort of their homes to enjoy the beauty of nature once again, Taal Vista Hotel prepared the coming back of their guests with more insightful and heart-warming treats that will fill the gap that was lost during the height of the pandemic in the country.


History Walk
With tons of eventful things that Taal Vista Hotel has experienced in the recent years, walking right under its Tudor-inspired roof will surely give you a historic moment. Hence, to continue highlighting those wondrous years, Taal Vista Hotel launched its' History Walk guided tour. 


Through this initiative, guests can get to know more about Taal Vista and Tagaytay City, including the famous Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. This History Walk will commence at the hotel lobby where trained guides will share insights about the hotel, the people behind it, as well as how Taal Vista Hotel played its part in the Philippine history.

Currently, there are five stops for this History Walk including the hotel's very own herb garden. But as Taal Vista Hotel mentioned during its initial run, they will keep developing the program to entice more people and join them in celebrating the one milestone after the other.

A Walk Through Time Exhibit
This year, Taal Vista Hotel is also celebrating its 82nd year anniversary. To further highlight the city and company's colorful past, they recently opened to the public A Walk Through Time Exhibit.


A quick run-down of the remarkable past of Tagaytay City and Taal Vista Hotel, here you will get a more detailed and visual information on how Taal Vista Hotel became one of the country's most celebrated hotel destination. Here, you will also get some historical data on Taal Volcano, which has been a major destination for local and foreign tourists.


A Walk Through Time Exhibit is project in partnership with the local government unit to shed some factual information and data about Taal Volcano and Taal Vista Hotel. The launched was led by SM Hotels and Convention Center Executive Vice President Ms. Peggy Angeles, Taal Vista Hotel General Manager Ramon Makilan, Tagaytay City's Ms. Aniela Tolentino and Mr. Nes Jardin.

A Season of Hope
In its effort to continue it tradition and merry-making, this November, Taal Vista Hotel also lit up its giant Christmas Tree to usher the coming Yuletide Season. Led by SM Hotels and Convention Center Executive Vice President Ms. Peggy Angeles, Taal Vista Hotel General Manager Mr. Ramon Makilan, Tagaytay City Councilor Miss Athena Tolentino and the children of Augustinian Sister Servants of Jesus and Mary.


Dubbed as "A Season of Hope", the tree-lighting ceremony, is one of the most anticipated Yuletide gathering in Taal Vista Hotel every year. Though, with safety protocol and social distancing still implemented, the ceremonial event was held brief but heartwarming as hotel management handover their gifts of love to the chosen charity.


The Taal Vista Hotel Christmas Tree is located at the hotel garden providing added attraction for family and group of friends to enjoy while staying at the hotel.


In the Mood Wine Dinner
In line with the festivities and triumphs, Taal Vista Hotel and Happy Living PH, hosted an intimate outdoor dining event for selected guests as they celebrate the hotel's 82nd Anniversary. Present at the event were SM Hotels and Convention Center and Taal Vista Hotel's management team, Tagaytay City's local government representatives, friends from the media and Happy Living PH's team led by General Manager Julian Gagliardi.


A 7-course meal perfectly paired with Happy Living's well-curated wine selection, In the Mood Wine Dinner was presented by Taal Vista Hotel's executive chef, Chef Jayme Natividad. Accompanying the sumptuous dinner were music from Innah Chico and pianist Lloyd Nicolas.


It's been a long while since I had something like this, and I'm positively saying that in the coming days, we will all gonna be spending the Holidays Season with excitement and warmth from the people that we love.
