Easy Hearty Cooking with Minola Premium Coconut Oil
One of the highlights of the recently concluded "Ketogenic Diet and Coconut Oil” seminar in Quezon City of Minola Premium Coconut Oil was the cooking demo of a fellow ketogenic, Rien Kenner Cajayon of Khendries Kitchen.
Ketogenic Diet or Keto was made popular due to its loosing weight factor that many Filipinos now get to appreciate and practice. And even though the regulation on this diet is still debatable, some other groups are proving that this is one helpful eating diet that could help eliminate certain diseases such as Diabetes.
Out of this push, various supporters of this diet have sprouted offering keto-friendly dishes that are not just easy to prepare but also pocket-friendly.
Serving as intermission during the seminar was Rien's cooking demo featuring her own recipe of Keto Buttered Chicken with Coco Aminos using Minola Premium Coconut Oil.
Ingredients:
Minola Premium Coconut Oil
Lurpak Butter
Chicken
Garlic
Onion
Ginger (optional)
Coco Aminos
Himalayan Salt and Pepper to taste
Direction:
1. Heat in the pan a good splash of Minola Premium Coconut Oil and mix it with it a table spoon of butter.
2. Sautee onion and garlic until cooked.
3. Add the chicken along with ginger for added taste.
4. Let the chicken cook under medium fire.
5. After some minutes, add the Coco Aminos for added flavor. This is a healthy type of soy sauce, which is made from coconut sap.
6. Once the chicken is tender, add a pinch of Himalayan salt and pepper then turn off the fire and prepare to serve.
Time of preparation for this dish is around 5 to 10 minutes.
