Uniqlo Celebrates Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store First Year with New Contents, Collections and Exciting Offers

Time flies indeed so fast! After its successful opening last year, the largest Uniqlo store in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia is celebrating its first year with more and more and more contents, collections and exciting offers to watch out for – and they are not kidding when they say more!

In a simple event last September 26 at Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store in Makati City, Uniqlo Philippines Co-COO Geraldine Sia shares how the first anniversary of Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store signifies the brand’s success in the Philippines and in the region, all thanks to their customers who pushes them to deliver the best of the brand. 

“We are grateful for the strong support we have been receiving since we opened our first flagship store in the country almost a year ago. To share this momentous event to all Filipinos, we are excited to announce the release of new contents, collections, and the LifeWear magazine,” she added.

Attended by celebrities, personalities, influencers, writers and editors, the gathering features the latest stuff we could all watch out for from Uniqlo Philippines including the LifeWear Magazine, the latest Uniqlo U Fall/Winter collection, the Uniqlo’s digital T-shirt printing service exclusive to Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store that will primarily carries the #UTmeArtPH collection, as well as local collaboration with internationally renowned furniture designer, Mr. Kenneth Cobonpue and one-stop, homegrown outdoor brand, Celeste Cycles.

LifeWear Magazine
Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store showcases the latest and the very best of LifeWear. Started last September 26, the LifeWear magazine will be available at Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store in Glorietta 5 and will be available in all stores nationwide thereafter. The flagship store will open a section showcasing styles from the issue. The premier edition of this free publication, timed with the 2019 Fall/Winter season, demonstrates how LifeWear embodies the Uniqlo commitment to creating pieces to meet the needs of everyone’s lifestyle.

Uniqlo U
Following the launch of the LIfeWear Magazine, last September 27, the latest Uniqlo U Fall/Winter collection was launched with progressive essentials created by a dedicated team at Uniqlo’s Paris R&D Center led by Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire. New additions to the much-awaited lineup include Men’s Uniqlo U BLOCKTECH Duffle Coats, Women’s Uniqlo U Wide Fit Curve Jeans, and Men’s Uniqlo U Wide Fit Tapered Jeans.

Another exciting content debut on September 27, 2019 is UTme!, the brand’s digital T-shirt printing service exclusive to Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store. Customers can create one-of-a-kind graphic shirts and tote bags using the tablets at the UTme! section located at the second floor. Fun and easy to use, shoppers can send in their personal photos, type texts, and apply special effects on their chosen canvas.

As part of the brand’s dedication to promote Filipino talent, Uniqlo has partnered with 10 local artists for its #UTmeArtPH collection. The debut collection ‘Future’ features artworks that inspire hope, celebrating the restless optimism of the Philippines—a place full of potential and possibilities. Designs created by Happy Garaje, Rob Cham, Isabel Weber, Manix Abrera, Ev Yu, Mika Bacani, Otto Björnik, Myka Arnado, Auggie Fontanilla, and Soleil Ignacio will be available for customers to use for their personalized t-shirts and will come with a gift card where personal messages can be written on.

Local Collaborations
Continuing its efforts to empower Filipinos to pursue their passions, Uniqlo recognizes local game-changers who help drive Manila forward. A celebration of Manila’s flourishing and forward-thinking culture, Our Future Is Here campaign continues as the brand draws a parallel between Uniqlo products, its brand values, and the character of Manila. For Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store’s first anniversary, Uniqlo collaborates with multi-awarded and world renowned furniture designer and manufacturer, Kenneth Cobonpue and one-stop, homegrown outdoor brand, Celeste Cycles. Products of these local brands are showcased in-store to provide customers the complete LifeWear experience.
