For Manilenos like me, who most of the time spend dining in some fast food restaurants, we don't need to envy our fellow Cebuanos because just recently, one of their homey - Chikaan sa Cebu - opened its first branch in the the metro, specifically at the Ground Floor of Musical Hall of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Sharing its inviting, cozy and modernized Filiino interior adorned with white and blue hanging lamps inspired by fishing basket in the province, and cozy table and chairs, Chikaan se Cebu offers a refreshing take to Cebuano dining experience topped with friendly service and appetizing meals that will take you back to the Queen City of the South.

For starters, dig in to their appetizers, which are perfect for sharing. Each dish offers that distinct crisp and flavor that will set your appetite for this whole experience. For a more flavorful start, you can get the Visayan version of Nilagang Baka, which is the Pochero.
