Quezon City’s Providence Hospital Opens New and High-tech Cath Lab

Staying true to its commitment of providing medical treatment at reasonable cost, Quezon City’s Providence Hospital opens its newest laboratory on top of its five-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and three-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU), the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), last Tuesday, May 8.

This advance and modern laboratory offers the world’s latest Coronary Angiogram by GE Healthcare, a modern machine that helps diagnose cardiac catheterization procedure.

During its launch, Dr. Dave B. Tan, President and CEO of Providence Hospital, recognized the amazing partnership Providence has with HB Calleja, who encourages them to push through with the project to help more people. Coming from a hospital, whose specialization is kidney treatment, with Cath Lab, they’ll be able to treat patients with heart diseases as well.
