Soundbites: Robinsons Food and Music Festival

Summer isn't all about the beaches, the adventures and the skimpy fashion styles - it is also the season for some good food and wonderful music that most of the time complete the experience and make it more memorable and heartfelt.

And a treat to its shoppers and diners, Robinsons Malls in partnership with Philippine Stars highlight music and food in its recent "throwback" session dubbed as "Soundbites: Food and Music Festival Throwback." And kicking off this colorful and wonderful festival was a gathering of Robinsons Magnolia's best restaurants along with the country's sought-after performers, The Voice of the Philippines Jessica Reynoso, Luke Mejares and one of the best OPM band who has been standing the test of time, South Border.

Last May in 9, a day before the lovely Mother's Day, Robinsons Magnolia guests were able to watch the said performers for free. Guests who dine at any participating restaurant and spend at least Php500 in a single transaction within the promo period got to enjoy free food, drinks and entertainment that boosted their night along with some great OPM music.

I was one of the many who went down the memory lane with South Border's greatest hits, as well as Jessica Reynoso's own rendition of funky music.

And as I devour all the wonderful dishes prepared to all the guests, I enjoyed watching and listening to some good old music - summer in its simplest but enjoyable form.

Though I can'st really share to all of you how enjoyable it was, I hope these videos will give you an idea and next time you'll watch out for Robinson events that will give you pure entertainment and fun.

Happy summer everyone!
