Red Ribbon and Do The Macaroon Dance!

We all know how good he is when it comes to singing, rapping and even songwriting, but did you know that recently, international celebrity and Pinoy pride takes the stage the center stage by dancing the latest dance craze of Red Ribbon Philippines build more schools in the country.

Do the Macaroon Dance, that's what we do almost all day last September 21, when Red Ribbon, together with its loyal consumers and fans gathered in The Block of SM City North EDSA for the official launch of the newest dance craze in town, The Macaroon Dance.

Featuring, member of the world-famous band The Black Eyed Peas, Red Ribbon invited their audience to groove to the music that is specially made for Red Ribbon's Macaroons for a Cause.

Macaroons For A Cause is a joint project by Red Ribbon along with Foundation and Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines to put up public schools that focus on shaping the youth and enhancing their skills in music and technology.

Together with the two institutions, Red Ribbon is aiming to reach its 4.2 million target in 2 years to help over 600 high school students have a decent, safe and effective learning facility.

Red Ribbon Macaroons are being sold in packs of 10, and each pack costs only Php50.00. And for every purchase, Php7.00 of will be donated to the Foundation that will build public high schools in the country.

“The Macaroons For A Cause has received an overwhelming response since we have launched the product 2 months ago. Every pack of macaroon sold brings us closer to achieving our goal to build a school in the hopes of molding globally-competitive youth in the Philippines,” according to Chino Lazaro, Red Ribbon Brand Manager., or Allan Pineda in real life, has personally experienced the impact of having a good education as he shares, “With an education, you can be anything. It is the way out of poverty”.
