Like Performing.Love Sony: Let's Support Trust Me!
December 16 was the night made for Trust Me to shine when they were hailed as the grand winners of Sony Philippines' talent search - Like Performing.Love Sony. Four students of PUP - Engineering bagged the prestigious title, cash prize and the opportunity to represent our country to Sony South East Asia's Like Performing.Love Sony, which will took place in Singapore!
Indeed, Sony Philippines found the next homegrown superstar through the talent search that they launched a few months back, and with 10 grand finalists, who comes from different top universities here in the country, Like Performing.Love Sony is the latest stepping stone for the Filipino talents to make it to the world.
A few days before Christmas, at the Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City, 10 world class and talented grand finalists from different colleges and universities wowed the shoppers through their overwhelming talent and charisma. Hosted by Sam YG and Lia Cruz, Sony Philippines held its much awaited grand finals of Like Performing.Love Sony.
Trust Me, with their really good cover on the music of Maroon 5 and Beyonce, really deserves the title. They were like one of those great Youtube bands that will capture not just your ears and heart but also your soul. Really, good job, guys!
Trust Me took home a cash prize of US$2,000, Sony products worth US$7,000 and will be treated to a celebrity weekend lifestyle of pampering and glitz. They will also stand a chance to become the South East Asian Grand Champion through an online voting contest between the country winners from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam, which will give them US$5,000 if they win.
