This Thank You Global Pinoy Awards is an initiative that sought for the most outstanding global Filipino workers who deserve our gratitude. Led by the Commission on Filipino Overseas, the government agency that is tasked to promote and uphold the interests of Filipino immigrants and permanent residents abroad, 10 Globa Pinoys were recognized and awarded that night at 7th High in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City.

Represented by their families, these 10 Global Pinoys received some love from Toblerone, who spearheaded this campaign since 2007, as well as plaque of appreciation for being an inspiration to millions of Filipinos all over the world.

Three among them that really made an impact to the world are are Reynaldo Lachica, a power plant chemist in London; Dennis Laforteza, a head chef for US President Barrack Obama and Francis Padua Paprica, a lawyer in San Francisco, U.S. of A.
