Coca-Cola and Araneta Giant Christmas Tree Lighting 2011 Ceremony

For the second time, Coca-Cola and Araneta Center invited me to capture and enjoy the happiness of the upcoming Yuletide season with the switching on of the Christmas lights on the country's tallest Christmas tree! Folk, it's that time of the year again for the Coca-Cola and Araneta Giant Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Just like last year, the event place was adorned with  stunning Coca-Cola designs that gave the whole place this wholistic Christmas-y spirit! There's the Coke-lover Santa Claus, who welcomed us to the venue, some Coca-cola photo stations, which were made by huge Coke bottles, then, there was also the Coke Music Bus that you can hop in to to see some Coca-Cola stories, some food stalls that shared some Christmas-y food, a drink stall that supplied Coca-Cola products to everyone, and lastly, the Giant Christmas Tree, which was the star of the night.

I arrived at the venue around 4 in the afternoon, an hour after the Coke Caravan started, so by that time, the parking lot where the Giant Christmas Tree is located was already full of media friends who were waiting for the artists from the Coke Caravan to arrive.

Upon registration, I was handed with this coupon that gave me a pass to every booth inside the event venue. The coupon also include a raffle stub for Coca-Cola Christmas Box Raffle later on.

As the artists flock in the venue, the ribbon cutting took place and the whole venue was opened to everyone! Food and drinks flowed and served to us by these celebrities. I feel like it was already Christmas! Looove it!

The actual program started just before the darkness sucked in all the light, but before that, I and my fellow bloggers, got a chance to pose with Santa and Coke bottles for some souvenir shots. ^_^

Hosted by these three new VJs of MYX, the program started with the presentation of the Coca-Cola divas.

It was my first time to see them perform, and boy, they are all really good!

Quezon City officials, headed by Mayor Herbert Bautista, as well as the beautiful ladies of Binibining Pilipinas, headed by Miss Shamcey Supsup, also graced the event and joined the officials of Coca-Cola in lighting the giant Christmas tree.

And with the lights of that giant Christmas tree dancing and blinking, the grand celebration continued with the stars from the two top TV networks showcasing their amazing talents.

I also captured some lovely pictures that I'm sure these artists' fans would love to see! Hehe!
Enjoy, guys! ^_^

But the night didn't end there. The most awaited raffle took place where in lucky names were drawn and give them the privilege to take home amazing Coca-Cola Christmas boxes!
