Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai takes Manila by Storm!

Typhoon Falcon's rain wasn't strong enough to stop excited circus lovers as they all gathered around the Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) for the first show of world-renowned circus group, Cirque du Soleil.

Varekai, which means "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies, will surely be the word for this month and the following month as this month-long show gives delight, excitement and colors to Manila City.

I was one of the lucky people who witnessed its first-ever show here in Manila, and boy, as early as now, I'm telling you to buy your tickets because this show is a show  you shouldn't miss! AND I'M DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT THIS.

I've seen some circus acts before, local and international, and I'd say that seeing Cirque du Soleil's Varekai performance for the very first time brought back the happy child in me.

There were so many funny acts that I can't help but to laugh really hard. There were also some acts that were truly out of this world. And there were some that would literally take your breath away.

Young and old will definitely have a great time being amaze to the lavish set design, colorful and truly wonderful costumes and astounding acrobatics!

And since I've been given a chance to take some photos of the show that I've just watched few hours ago, here are some of it and I hope these give you excitement and make you wanna buy your tickets asap. ^_^

Cell phones, cameras and camera phones are not allowed inside the Grand Chapiteau. If I were you, if you are not buying the Premium Tickets, it is better to have a decent meal before watching the show because popcorn is the only food available inside. You might as well have some spare money to buy souvenir items. And lastly, sit back, relax and just enjoy the show!

You can check out the prices of the tickets on this website - http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/varekai/tickets/manila/prices.aspx

Thank you Cirque du Soleil! I love Varekai!
