The New Faces of Solo

Concluding the online search in where one female and one male shone brighter among the hundreds of participants, SOLO has named their new ambassadors in the cute, funky and bubbly personalities of Mehran Khaledi and Phoebe Rutaquio.

Last January, among hundreds of photo entries submitted to Solo, 9 male and 8 female entries were chosen to be part of the finalist for the 2nd Solo Online Model Search and out of that 17 entries, two were hailed as grand winners. First, the photo entry which is entitled The Soloist - photographer Louie Pariñas, model Mehran Khaledi - topped as the judges' and online voters' best photo entry for the male category. While, the photo entry which is entitle The Slice of Glam - photographer Em Rejano, model Phoebe Rutaquio - was chosen to be the judge's and online voters' favourite among all of the final 8 female entries.

Part of the contest's mechanics was for the models and photographers to create an artistic photograph from the Larry Alcala Collection, which is a part of the Solo Pinoy Cartoonist Memorabilia Series. You can still view the rest of the participants' entries at www.solo.com.ph.

And this summer season, you can see how Solo transformed these two aspiring models into a more colorful and stunning youth inspirations as they dressed up and campaign for this season's Solo collection.

Here are some of the major, major transformation that Mehran and Phoebe under went as they both enjoy the world of modelling and fashion.

One word - FIERCE!
