Global City's Next Big Thing

With the upcoming holiday season, streets, parking lots and malls tend to get busier and busier with a lot of us doing Christmas rush, so even before we start doing shopping, we are already tired and hungry. Long lines to every cashier and even at restaurants and food joints are insight – nasty long lines.

But did you know that the Global City, Taguig, has its latest offering for those food lovers and people who just wanna relax and dine out peacefully -- The Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill. Wee!

Last night, some food bloggers (lucky me!) were invited to do some food tasting/dining experience in this very European, very Venetian ambiance in the soon-to-be-talk-of-the-town McKinley Hill.

I instantly fell in love with the place as soon as I stepped out of our car. The architecture was really good; adding up the nice yellow spotlights all over the place made it more grandeur. Though, you may notice that the place was not that fully developed, you’d know by the look of it that the place has a wonderful future ahead.

As we stroll around, we saw some intricate European-style/Romanesque architecture that will capture every Pinoy and foreigner’s hearts alike.

The entrance was already magnificent. It was like an entrance to an expensive hotel. The interior was just stunning. The colourful ceiling and the exquisite stair were my favourites. Oh, plus the wide door that lead to the comfort room, really great!

The growing number of restaurants for some relaxing dining experience, like Kuse, for some Filipino cuisine, Old Vine Grille for some Europen dishes, Little Asia for some Asian-fusion dining experience, Sol Gelato for that sweet tooth, and some more popular food joints like Reyes Barbeque, and I also a KFC there last night were some of establishments that you can find by now.

The place is best visited at night for it shed wonderful scenery, perfect for those picture taking moments.

Though, it may also look a lot like Eastwood Mall in Libis, I think, the edge of this place to Libis was that the place was kinda secluded since it was inside the Mckinley Hill area. You’d really have a very nice and peaceful dining experience – totally far from pollution and busy streets.

According to the personnel who took us there, the owners were still developing the area, and they are planning to add more food stalls and some clubs. Wee again! This may be the new “The Fort”.

So if you guys are hunting for a nice and people place to celebrate Christmas -- parties, reunions or just wanna have an extraordinaire date -- I recommend you this new place.

Now, I'm excited for Christmas! Wee!
