KasperskySecure: Live in the Philippines highlights cyber resilience
Kaspersky hosted KasperskySecure: Live in the Philippines, bringing together more than 80 enterprise customers in Manila in October 2026 to explore how organizations can strengthen cyber resilience through a more integrated approach to security. Held at Shangri-La The Fort, the event highlighted how organizations can move beyond siloed security tools by connecting Threat Intelligence, endpoint security, and SIEM to improve visibility, detection and response.
The event opened with remarks from Sam Yan, Head of Sales for AEC at Kaspersky, who introduced the day's key themes and set the stage for discussions around the changing cybersecurity landscape in the Philippines.
The programme then moved into a fireside chat, “Inside the Philippine Threat Landscape – What Are We Up Against?”, with Nikita Vlasov, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Kaspersky; Sam Yan; and Jayson Ong, Presales Manager for AEC at Kaspersky. The discussion explored the evolving threat landscape in the Philippines, the business value of integrated security solutions, and how Kaspersky is addressing customers' changing cybersecurity needs while continuing to support the local market.
Jayson Ong then presented “From Cyber Resilience to Converged Security: Breaking Down the Silos”, demonstrating how Endpoint, SIEM and Kaspersky OSMP/KICS can work together, supported by Threat Intelligence, to provide greater visibility and enable more informed security decisions.
Nikita Vlasov followed with “From Threat Intelligence to Action”, highlighting how organizations can use Threat Intelligence to better understand adversaries, enrich threat detection and accelerate investigation and response. The session emphasized the importance of turning intelligence into actionable insights for security teams.
Commenting on the importance of integrated security, Sam Yan said: “As cyberthreats continue to evolve, endpoint protection remains essential, but organizations need broader visibility to detect and respond to sophisticated threats. By combining Threat Intelligence, endpoint security, and SIEM, organizations can better understand threats and respond more effectively. Our focus is on helping Philippine businesses strengthen cyber resilience through an integrated, intelligence-led approach to security.”
The event concluded with closing remarks and key takeaways from Sam Yan, followed by a networking lunch that gave customers, prospects, selected partners, distributors and Kaspersky representatives an opportunity to continue discussions around the cybersecurity challenges facing Philippine organizations.
