"WISHES" is STARGLOW's reply to the song that started it all

One year after STARGLOW began their journey, the five members are answering where it all started. STARGLOW surprises fans with the release of “WISHES”, an answer song to “PIECES”, the track performed by finalists during the final stage of BMSG’s audition THE LAST PIECE, a performance that became a defining moment of the competition.

Where "PIECES" captured finalists' hopes and uncertainty on that one specific day, "WISHES" picks up the same voice, one year later, now that those hopes have become something real.
The five members are no longer audition finalists wondering what comes next. They are STARGLOW, looking back on the year they have spent together and putting into words the time, memories and bonds they have built, while turning their eyes toward what comes next.

The song is especially personal because all five STARGLOW members took part in writing and composing "WISHES", credited alongside Bad Milk, PALMR and SKY-HI, the same team behind "PIECES", with PALMR handling arrangement and SKY-HI and PALMR producing. With the members themselves shaping both the words and melody, the song captures the connections formed through their first year together and the irreplaceable memories they have made along the way.

Rather than dressing those feelings up in elaborate words, “WISHES” lets the members speak for themselves. The result is a song rooted in the experiences that transformed five individuals into a group, carrying the emotions of that first chapter while looking toward everything still ahead.

The celebration doesn't stop at the song. On the release day (22 September), STARGLOW hosts a livestream at 9:00pm JST marking their one-year pre-debut anniversary, with a "major announcement" promised about the group's next steps, plus a live vocal performance. Straight after, at 9:30pm JST, the lyric video for "WISHES" premieres, giving fans a deeper look at the members' own words alongside the visuals.

Alongside the surprise single, STARGLOW has also revealed the full tracklist and artwork for their debut album "Aurora", out 18 November. The 14-track album spans their catalogue from pre-debut track "Moonchaser" through to latest single "Drivin' My Life", adding "WISHES" and five further new songs, including unit tracks, to complete the picture of everything the group has built since their pre-debut just one year ago.

The album releases across six formats, including two limited first-press editions with bonus DVD content, a standard edition, and two BMSG MUSIC SHOP-exclusive editions featuring a 52-page photobook and live footage from Summer Sonic 2026. A separate BMSG MUSIC SHOP bundle pairs the CD with original merchandise, a pin badge set and group trading cards. Every format includes a random acrylic mini keychain as a purchase bonus.

From the uncertainty and anticipation of “PIECES” to the memories and hopes captured in “WISHES”, the two songs form a story that has grown alongside STARGLOW itself. One year in, STARGLOW isn't simply looking back at where they started. With “WISHES”, they're putting their own words to everything that happened since, and taking those wishes into the next chapter.
