Keina Suda's new single "BLACK" is the calm before a very loud album

Dark has never sounded this addictive. Keina Suda returns with "BLACK", a new single that blurs the line between beauty and obsession.

"BLACK" follows "悪夢 Nightmare" (released 24 June) as another advance look at Keina Suda's upcoming third major album "LOVE HATE", out 9 September, three years since his last full-length, and each one has been building toward the same target. If "悪夢" was the setup, "BLACK" feels like the moment right before the album finally lands.

Released as the latest advance track from that album, "BLACK" wastes no time pulling listeners in. Murakami himself described the concept: "I wanted to portray a story about confronting one's own existence, within the flow of time and between life and death. Through Suda, who carries a quiet sense of disconnect from those around him, I hoped to create a visual work striking enough to make anyone watching reflect on both living and dying."
