Che'Nelle reunites with her "Believe" songwriter, and this one's different

Some reunions are just for old time's sake. This one wasn't.

Che'Nelle just brought back EIGO, the songwriter behind her own "Believe", one of the biggest songs of her career, and instead of chasing that same high again, he wrote her something closer to her heart, closer to who Che'Nelle is today.

"たいせつなもの Taisetsu na mono" is built around the small things people don't notice until they're already gone, time with family, a quiet feeling for someone you love, the kind of ordinary beauty that only makes sense in hindsight. It's warm, reflective, and built to land as a genuine message rather than a pop anthem chasing a hook.

The song also comes with a platform most releases don't get. "たいせつなもの Taisetsu na mono" is the theme song for DOCOMO Future Museum, NTT Docomo's creative art competition that has been running every year since 2002, giving the track an audience and context well beyond streaming numbers alone.

Che'Nelle didn't ask EIGO to write her another "Believe". She asked him to write something that sounds like where she is now, and that's exactly what he did.
