Spotify Brings Olivia Rodrigo To FC Barcelona For El Clásico Jersey Takeover
Spotify is bringing one of music’s most defining voices to the world's biggest football stage, announcing Grammy award-winning global superstar Olivia Rodrigo as the latest artist to take over the front of the FC Barcelona jersey. For El Clásico on May 10 at Spotify Camp Nou, FC Barcelona players will wear a version of the iconic blaugrana jersey featuring the logo of one of the most celebrated artists of her generation, making her the youngest artist to feature on the jersey in the partnership's history.
Olivia Rodrigo stands as one of the most acclaimed artists of her time. At just 23, the Grammy Award-winning global superstar has amassed over 55 million monthly listeners on Spotify worldwide, with the Philippines ranking among her top fifteen markets globally. From drivers license to vampire, her music has resonated deeply with Filipino fans since day one. She also has nine songs in the Spotify Billions Club, a milestone she will mark with a Billions Club Live performance in Barcelona.
Four years into its partnership with FC Barcelona, Spotify has built the jersey takeover into one of football's most anticipated moments, by doing something no partner does. It removes its own logo and hands that space to an artist. El Clásico is back at Spotify Camp Nou for the first time since the renovation and it arrives with an Olivia Rodrigo jersey on the pitch.

Alongside the jersey, Spotify and FC Barcelona have created a capsule collection with Olivia Rodrigo, bringing together the iconic identity of Barça with Olivia's own visual world across exclusive apparel and accessories.
Olivia Rodrigo said: “Seeing OR on a FC Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don't even know how to process that. It’s been so fun seeing the jersey come to life and creating a full collection with Spotify and Barca. On top of that, getting to perform for the fans who've been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special. That's everything to me. I cannot wait to see them."
Olivia will be the eighth artist to be featured on the iconic FC Barcelona jersey with Spotify, following previous shirt takeovers with Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Coldplay, KAROL G, The Rolling Stones, ROSALÍA, and Drake.
FC Barcelona will also share a special edition of the popular Barça Matchday playlist on Spotify featuring themed songs to motivate the players and fans in the build up to the game, which was curated by Olivia Rodrigo.
Barça’s Olivia Rodrigo collection will include a t-shirt, fleece crew, hoodie, bucket hat, and scarf, as well as travel mug, sticker pack and tote bag. The limited edition collection can be purchased online starting May 1 at 4 PM PHT.
The Olivia Rodrigo logo will feature on the FC Barcelona jersey, which will be worn for the El Clásico match against Real Madrid on May 10. FC Barcelona Femení will be wearing the jersey in their Liga F match against Levante on May 6.
Spotify has also made it personal for Olivia's most devoted fans in Barcelona, an intimate, invite-only concert on the evening of May 8th. This one-off event will celebrate the fandom unique to Livies and the connected spirit which flows through the community. At an iconic venue in the heart of the city, Spotify is bringing Olivia face to face with her top fans, selected through their listening on Spotify.
