Teatré Phileo presents “MITOS: Theater Festival
Teatré Phileo presents “MITOS: Theater Festival,” headed by Jhay Hernandez (Coach of Teatré Phileo) and Khiara Mae Salvador (current President of Teatré Phileo). This production is inspired by the Theory of the Psyche by Carl Jung, premiering on May 14–15, 2026, at Asia Pacific College Auditorium.
The production explores the three archetypes—Persona, Shadow, and Anima/Animus—through the genres of Comedy, Drama, and Romance, reflecting the different facets of human identity and the complexities of the self. Each segment offers a distinct narrative that represents the masks we wear, the hidden aspects we conceal, and the balance we strive to achieve within ourselves.
Through these stories, the festival brings to life the concept of “mito” or personal mythologies that shape one’s identity, allowing audiences to connect with relatable experiences and deeper emotional truths. Brought to the stage by Teatré Phileo’s new members, the production highlights fresh perspectives, creativity, and collaborative storytelling.
This production is dedicated to supporting BantuPH, an organization that empowers at-risk youth by developing their skills and potential, while also supporting families in need and envisioning a society where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
To further extend this mission, Teatré Phileo will host a donation drive for BantuPH through a Dropbox at our booth on April 20, 2026, at the Asia Pacific College Cafeteria. We warmly invite everyone to take part in this meaningful effort by bringing non-perishable goods such as canned goods, instant noodles, rice, and other essentials. Every contribution, big or small, will go directly to our beneficiary partner to help vulnerable youth and underserved communities gain access to basic needs.
For those attending the festival, donations can also be dropped off during the production dates, May 14–15, 2026, at the Asia Pacific College Auditorium. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an inspiring performance while also making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
