I Don’t Like Mondays. drops “Masquerade” amid Asia Tour

Masks on. Volume up. Here comes I Don’t Like Mondays.

The four-piece rock band has unveiled their first digital single of 2026, “マスカレード Masquerade”, setting the tone for a high-speed year ahead.

The sleek lead track has been selected as the tie-in song for Japanese makeup brand KATE’s original web movie “HENSHIN THE FIRST”, now rolling out across Asia. Built around the collaboration theme “Strong, Beautiful, HENSHIN,” the project fuses KATE’s bold philosophy with the iconic world of Kamen Rider, pushing the band into striking new visual and sonic territory.

The single package also features a self-cover of “Just Like That”, a song the band originally wrote and provided to Hiromitsu Kitayama (solo artist and former Kis-My-Ft2 member), now reimagined through the group’s own lens.

Meanwhile, the band has officially ignited their “TOXIC ASIA TOUR 2026”, launching with their Singapore show on 1 March. While I Don’t Like Mondays. has steadily built momentum in the Greater China region in recent years, this marks their largest Asia tour to date, spanning five cities and introducing the band to new markets.

Singapore, a first-time tour stop, delivered an especially electric response, reinforcing the group’s growing pull beyond Japan. Riding this wave, the members have made clear their intent to continue expanding internationally while staying rooted in their signature sound and style.

With global momentum building and “Masquerade” leading the charge, all eyes are now on I Don’t Like Mondays. as their 2026 story accelerates across Asia.
