This February, Discovery Samal invites couples to celebrate “Moments Made for Love”, a distinctly island-romantic escape featuring curated dining experiences, sunset cocktails, live music, and vibrant buffets set against Samal Island’s tropical beauty. Centered on shared moments under open skies and softly lit coastal views, the resort’s Valentine offerings are designed for effortless connection.

Romantic Dinners and Sunset Pairings
Discovery Samal’s Valentine celebrations begin on February 13 and 14 at Morning Catch and Haribar Lounge, where guests can enjoy dinner priced at Php 3,500 net per person from 6 pm to 9 pm. These evenings feature a generous spread of buffet selections complemented by live music, creating a dining experience shaped around flavor and atmosphere. 

At Morning Catch, the resort’s signature seafood restaurant, guests can savor freshly prepared dishes, from grilled and steamed selections to comforting fried favorites, all enjoyed with sweeping ocean views and the gentle sound of the waves.

Meanwhile at Haribar Lounge, the celebration unfolds in a more relaxed, oceanfront setting. Known for its well-crafted cocktails, the lounge invites couples to raise a toast with signature drinks made from premium spirits, alongside a curated selection of wines and aged whiskeys that naturally complement the evening’s menu and mood.

For couples seeking a more intimate setting, The Bistro offers a five-course dining experience featuring a progression of refined dishes, from a saffron and pistachio-infused chicken roulade and smoked salmon salad with blue ternate vinaigrette, to a trio of vegetable purées, Australian Wagyu ribeye paired with seared scallops and foie gras pâté, and a cardamom mousse dessert with caramelized dates and citrus notes to end the evening on a romantic note. The special five-course menu is priced at Php 3,500 per person. 

A Musical Celebration of Love
The festivities continue with “Songs of the Heart” on February 20 and 21, where Discovery Samal transforms Valentine’s into an evening of music and celebration, headlined by Daryl Ong with performances by Myoozik Sensation, Nash and Paul, and Marco Zamesa. Priced at Php 4,500 net per person, the experience includes a glamping soirée buffet, unlimited Asia Brewery spirits, live performances, and a fire exhibition dance. Couples are invited to enjoy an evening of heartfelt music as the island night comes alive.
