Oasis Gaming Shines as VALORANT Champions at Predator League 2026 Philippines

Day 2 of Predator League featured League of Legends for the first time and the FPS staple VALORANT in front of a lively crowd at the SM North EDSA Annex. NAOS Esports claimed the League of Legends title over favorites West Point Esports - Academy. Meanwhile, Oasis Gaming solidified their status as a major VALORANT team in the country against Xipto Esports. Both VALORANT teams secured their spots in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals in New Delhi, India.

VALORANT brings in the firepower
Philippine VALORANT mainstay Oasis Gaming went head-to-head against Xipto Esports, who recently entered the local scene. The first game in the series was won by Oasis Gaming, starting with their opening pick of Sunset. Mark ‘Marky’ Tuling led the charge with his Yoru, racking up 19 frags and two assists in the map that Oasis Gaming dominated with a score of 13-5. Game 2 saw another strong performance from Oasis Gaming in Abyss. Jon Michael ‘tesseract’ Piga was on a mission for Oasis with his Sova. With flawless utility and aim for the Initiation, Xipto Esports didn’t stand a chance in a 13-3 rout.

But Xipto Esports proved that Oasis Gaming does bleed like the rest with a comeback victory in Corrode. John Timothy ‘JA’ Arone’s 31 frags outpaced Jhian ‘Zeus’ Dela Vega’s 23 frags, forcing a Game 4.

Xipto’s Bind pick didn’t work out in their favor. Oasis Gaming’s firepower was coming from all directions, and Xipto Esports were overwhelmed 13-6. Zeus once again proves he's one of the best Raze players in the country, as Oasis Gaming lifts the Predator Shield and takes home PHP 200,000.

Earlier in the day, VALORANT also featured a showmatch of the stars between pro player Gian Carlo ‘Giansanity’ Abilla and Acer Ambassador Will Ashley. Team Giansanity included streamers Jillipuff and Shogun. Meanwhile, Team Will showcased Amara and Gabteezy for the fun matchup. While the map was full of laughs and antics, in the end, Team Giansanity emerged victorious with a 13-3 scoreline.

Repping the Philippines in India
VALORANT teams Oasis Gaming and Xipto Esports will join Kukuys, Execration, and Team Nemesis at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals in India to duke it out against the region's top teams early next year.
