CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE Drops Whoop It Up “DELUXE Edition” featuring ONE PIECE Ending Theme Song ‘PUNKS’!
The rising Japanese alt-pop sensation CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE returns with the release of Whoop It Up “DELUXE Edition", now available digitally and on CD worldwide. This new 22-track expansion upgrades their April 2025 full-length album Whoop It Up, adding hit singles that have amplified their fanbase across Southeast Asia and beyond.
A highlight of the deluxe edition, “PUNKS”, continues to attract massive regional attention as the ending theme for ONE PIECE’s ongoing Egghead Arc, one of the most beloved and widely-followed anime franchises in Southeast Asia.
Also newly included is “TAMAPOP”, an energetic track originally created for the Tamagotchi Uni TV campaign, resonating strongly with audiences who grew up with the globally iconic digital pet phenomenon.
CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE’s music blends ’90s pop nostalgia with futuristic and genre-bending energy, shaped through bold international collaborations with artists such as MadeinTYO (USA), Rony Rex (Finland), Coolboi (USA), as well as fellow Japanese TAKE-M from Umeda Cypher and PES from Japan’s legendary RIP SLYME.
Their colorful chaos has already taken them onto major global stages including SXSW where their performances were highlighted by international outlets such as VIBE and CLASH as among the best of the festival, helping the group build momentum in key Southeast Asian music markets.
Media have praised their bold, fearless sound: NPR World Cafe describes CLWP as “a band that seemingly manages to pack all of that energy into their music and performance,” while CRUSH hailed them as “cartoonish rap meets rock with outrageous levels of glee — sort of like Beastie Boys meets CHAI.”
