Avex Music Night 2025 Returns to Singapore and Sends the City into a Fever Pitch

Avex Music Night 2025 blew the roof off Suntec Plaza on 2 October, transforming the venue into a pulsating hub of music, dance, and high-energy performances. As part of Groovedriver Festival at Grand Prix Season Singapore, the showcase was presented by Avex Music Creative Inc. in partnership with 8-Beat Collective, and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board. Fans from across the region packed the venue to capacity, coming together for an unforgettable celebration of Japanese music and performance.

The night opened with a spellbinding set from TOMONARI SORA, the multi-talented artist who set the tone for the evening with a solo performance that embodied true artistry. Effortlessly commanding the spotlight with his keyboard, TOMONARI SORA captivated the audience as he switched seamlessly between English, Japanese, and Chinese — a multilingual connection that fans “completely ate up” as he drew them deeper into the night.

Next up, KeNN, a returning act from the very first Avex Music Night, took the stage with a five-piece band and a quintessentially local touch — entering in true Singaporean fashion with a bag of iced milk tea (teh ping) in hand. His warmth and easy rapport with the crowd created an intimate, feel-good atmosphere, and he closed his set with an unexpected flourish: a surprise backflip that sent the audience into thunderous applause and awe.

The momentum soared with muque, whose electrifying performance brought the energy of the entire venue to a fever pitch. The chemistry between the band members was enchanting — their joy in dancing, singing, and playing together was infectious, inviting the audience fully into muque’s world. As the band lost themselves in the music, the crowd followed suit, moving and singing along in perfect unison.

Singer and dance virtuoso SANTA then took over the stage, instantly winning over the audience with a charismatic introduction delivered in English, Japanese, and Chinese. His performance was a masterclass in versatility — blending sharp choreography with expressive storytelling, and effortlessly moving between intense, high-energy dance breaks and moments of heartfelt connection. Fans’ admiration for SANTA was on full display, with a dedicated fan wall in the venue covered in photos, decorations, and messages — a vibrant tribute that added another layer of emotion and community spirit to the night.

Closing the show with an explosive finale was WOLF HOWL HARMONY from EXILE TRIBE, who brought raw charisma, commanding stage presence, and boundless energy to their set. Their seamless vocal harmonies, dynamic choreography, and genuine interaction with fans turned the finale into a shared celebration between artist and audience. Every moment — from their fan shout-outs to spontaneous gestures of appreciation — demonstrated their deep gratitude and connection, leaving the crowd on a euphoric high and rounding off Avex Music Night 2025 with an unforgettable bang.

Avex Music Night 2025 was more than a showcase — it was a powerful testament to the growing resonance of Japanese music and artistry on the global stage. As the final notes faded and the cheers echoed through Suntec Plaza, one thing was clear: the connection between artists and fans knows no borders. With its sights set firmly on bringing more talent and unforgettable performances to audiences beyond Japan, Avex is just getting started.
