Chevon, Japan’s rising rock trio, ignites a new chapter with their explosive single “Ruten るてん”. As a lead-up to their nationwide joint-band tour Yoshinani ~National Edition~ (よしなに ~全国編~), the track distills the Buddhist concept of Shogyo Mujou (impermanence) into a visceral, modern rock experience. “Ruten るてん” is Chevon at their most daring yet — weaving nostalgic melodies and distinctly Japanese textures with sharp riffs and explosive rock energy, turning impermanence into a sound that feels both timeless and unmistakably now.
Since their 2021 debut, Chevon has climbed at breakneck speed. They launched with a year-long monthly release project, sold out their very first one-man show in Sapporo, and stormed major festivals including JOIN ALIVE and ARABAKI ROCK FEST. Their momentum carried into 2023 with the two-man tour “KAIJU 大行侵” which sold out instantly, alongside the breakout success of “Knock Boots ノックブーツ”, their first TV drama tie-in. The following year, their debut full-length album Chevon sets the stage for the “meimei 冥冥” tour — thirteen shows, every one sold out, capped by a career-defining finale at Zepp Shinjuku. In 2025, their Zepp tour “DUA·RHYTHM” repeated the feat, closing with their largest headline show to date at Zepp Haneda.
This autumn, Chevon takes things further with Yoshinani ~National Edition~ (よしなに ~全国編~), sharing stages with heavyweights like UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, FREDERIC, THE ORAL CIGARETTES, Keina Suda, and indigo la End, before closing the run with a sold-out one-man show at Zepp Haneda. Standing alongside some of Japan’s most respected names, Chevon are proving they’re not just a rising name — they’re the future of Japan’s rock scene.
For fans across Southeast Asia, where Japanese rock is gaining a devoted following, “Ruten るてん” is the perfect entry point. It’s a song about change, urgency, and momentum — the very forces driving Chevon beyond Japan and onto the world stage.
