Dive into SIRUP’s cyberpunk world in "KIRA KIRA"
R&B standout SIRUP returns with his 3rd album “OWARI DIARY”, a bold solo statement exploring the tensions between chaos and hope in modern life. The album showcases SIRUP’s genre-defying artistry, blending neo-soul, R&B, gospel, and hip-hop influences into a sound that is both polished and emotionally raw.
Leading the album is the single “KIRA KIRA”, produced by Australia’s Taka Perry, who also handled over half the album’s tracks. A driving, neon-lit anthem, the song pairs racing beats with shimmering melodies to capture the thrill and confusion of urban nights.
In the music video, SIRUP transforms into three compelling personas — a rebellious biker tearing through neon-lit streets, a charismatic politician delivering a powerful speech, and a surreal futuristic icon — blurring the line between reality and imagination. The visuals explode with cyberpunk energy, merging dazzling cityscapes, kinetic storytelling, and bold symbolism to capture the emotional pulse of “OWARI DIARY”. Each frame reflects the album’s central theme: navigating chaos, embracing uncertainty, and finding your own light and voice amidst the noise of modern life.
