Paledusk Drops Full “HUGs”
The wait is over — and it’s even more chaotic, emotional, and electrifying than expected.
Paledusk just dropped the full version of “HUGs”, the explosive anime opening for Gachiakuta. First heard as a TV-size teaser in the anime’s 6 July premiere, the long-awaited track now lands in full: 5 minutes and 33 seconds of genre-warping chaos that fans are already calling the band’s next “masterpiece.”
The Fukuoka-born four-piece continues to shatter expectations, slamming brutal riffs into glossy pop flourishes to create a sound that feels less like a song and more like a force of nature. Commissioned directly by Gachiakuta creator Kei Urana and graffiti designer Hideyoshi Andou, “HUGs” channels the story’s emotional weight and raw intensity into one unrelenting sonic punch.
The single also marks Paledusk’s major label debut, with a CD version due out 17 September in two formats: a standard edition and a deluxe first press featuring LP-size jacket packaging and exclusive Gachiakuta-themed trading cards. Among the collectible items are illustrations of Paledusk’s members by the Gachiakuta creator himself — a must-have for anime and band fans alike.
To top it off, Paledusk is hitting the road with their “PALEGALAXY vol.2” tour this September across Japan, featuring guest acts Polaris and Knosis. Tickets are now on sale.
With Gachiakuta airing weekly, the full version of “HUGs” unleashed and a music video on the way, Paledusk’s next chapter has officially begun.
Get ready. It’s about to get loud.
