Korean-American Artist eaJ Unveils New Cinematic Alt-Pop EP '1', Lead Single "RED" Out Now
Returning not just to form, but to fire, eaJ lights the fuse on his most visceral project to date with his new EP titled '1', out now via Position Music. A bold and cinematic leap forward, '1' ignites a volatile sonic universe—a body of work that pulses with emotional urgency and fearless creative control.
Following the high-wire intensity of “ruin my life” and the dizzying emotional spiral of “merry go round”, this EP finds eaJ sharper, louder, and more commanding than ever. Headlining the new EP is its lead single, “RED”—a thunderous, genre-bending anthem originally written for Tencent’s breakout video game Arena Breakout: Infinite and co-produced by Jorgen Odegard (Justin Bieber’s “Holy”). “RED” explodes with searing guitars, fever-pitch vocals, and a blistering alt-pop soundscape that refuses to stay still—a track built to live on and off the screen. It's eaJ at his most electrified, capturing the rush of adrenaline and emotion in real time.
Rounding out the EP with a moment of stillness and uplift, “pause” contrasts the chaos with clarity, offering space to breathe amid the emotional storm. Following a banner year that included an Asia tour, a stadium tour with Imagine Dragons, and the release of his introspective EP 'when the rain stopped following me', eaJ now steps fully into his own lane.
