AiNA THE END’s “Aria” Lands with Heart and Hope
Singer-songwriter AiNA THE END captivated fans at DayDay. SUPER LIVE 2025 on 12 April with the world premiere of her poignant new song “Aria”, performed live at Pia Arena MM. This powerful new track also marks her latest contribution to the world of drama, serving as the theme song for the newly launched NTV Saturday drama “The Reluctant Preache なんで私が神説教”.
AiNA THE END, known for her emotive vocals and lyrical depth, penned the lyrics herself after deeply engaging with the drama's script. Longtime collaborator Shin Sakiura, a trusted musical partner for over a decade, joined her in composing the track.
“Aria” was written specifically for the drama and is a tender mid-tempo anthem that captures the emotional transformation of its protagonist. As the character gradually opens up to the warmth of others, she begins to face both her past and her students with renewed strength and compassion. The song beautifully mirrors this personal journey – a “拓き” or opening of the heart – and extends its message to viewers and listeners alike.
AiNA THE END revealed during her live performance: “Even if you can’t speak perfectly, that doesn’t mean you’re empty. You’ve lived through things, that’s enough. So it’s okay to just be yourself.” [translated]
The heartfelt lyrics, especially the use of “僕ら” (we), carry a universal message: “Everyone can be a light”. With its radiant melody and comforting tone, “Aria” stands out as an uplifting and emotional highlight in AiNA's discography.
