Japanese Musician HIRAIDAI Continues His ‘LUCKY BAG’ Series with 8th EP, ‘Christmas Wish’

Japanese singer-songwriter HIRAIDAI began his ‘LUCKY BAG’ project in June, in which he releases an EP each month with a specific theme, packed with new songs, past hits and homemade demos recorded on an iPhone. The eighth instalment in the series, titled ‘Christmas Wish’, was on Wednesday, December 11.

The six songs on the new EP include the title track ‘Christmas Wish’ along with a reprised set of older songs that make the perfect holiday accompaniment. Selected with the theme of “Winter Songs to color your Christmas”, the EP includes seasonal songs such as HIRAIDAI’s popular official Starbucks collaborations ‘Starbucks, Me and You’ and ‘Love & Happiness (Let’s Be a Santa)’. It also features a home recording demo of ‘Anniversary’, a love song that is popular across social media and at his live performances.

The new track ‘Christmas Wish’ is a heartwarming Christmas song with bittersweet lyrics and a beautiful melody. The song is ideal for those nights as “the more I wish to see you, the feeling pile up in my heart like snow”. Don’t miss the lyric video, which perfectly conveys the message of the song.
