#AlexReviews: Red Planet Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga

Normally, we booked hotels to stay for a night or two to relax and sometimes, to enjoy its amenities. With the tourism industry continuing to develop in many key parts of the country, more and more types of accommodation are becoming available for tourists and locals alike.

Recently, one of my most anticipated travel plans has finally come – to take a break at the wondrous and captivating Siargao Island. After hearing so many stories and seeing so many stunning videos online, I can’t wait to experience all those tropical adventures, and since flights to this paradise are still limited, the flight I had required me to go to Clark International Airport.

Most of the flights going to Siargao are scheduled early in the morning. In my case, my flight via Sunlight Air is at 4:00 am. So, for convenience, I booked a room at Red Planet Hotels in Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Red Planet Hotels, a Japanese-owned budget hotel with 14 hotels in the Philippines, offers a convenient option to Filipino travelers who have flights via Clark International Airport. With its strategic location, specifically along Juico Avenue, Clar, Angeles City, Pampanga, this property was a convenient and affordable option offering essential stay needs for individuals and groups.

The convenience starts upon downloading their mobile app as the Red Planet Hotels App provides multiple services, including exclusive discounts and a streamlined check-in process. During my stay at their Clark property, this app served as the communication tool that let me chat directly with their Hotel Front Office for my needs, such as booking a car transfer to the airport or even helping me find the nearest bank, pharmacy, and restaurants.

Upon entering the lobby, I was welcomed by a simple lobby that offered an airport-like check-in experience - no fuss, and less interaction with different people. All that's left to do is to show proof of your stay; and a valid ID and the staff will provide you your room key as soon as they verify your details. I was assigned two floors above the lobby, which gives a window view of Don Juico Avenue.

The room I got was cozy, with a ceiling fan if guests wish for air circulation. There’s also a TV, a side desk, and a private bathroom, which comes with bath towels. Since this is a budget hotel, other stuff such as slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are sold separately. You may get them at the lobby, along with snacks and drinks. In terms of drinking water, the hotel provides a drinking fountain in the lobby, where you can refill your canisters.

Aside from those, connectivity in the hotel was strong and effective as the hotel is equipped with WiFi 6 in all rooms and common areas. During my stay, I was able to enjoy streaming some videos using the hotel’s WiFi, which for me, their Internet connection is reliable.
Above all else, I find Red Planet Hotel Clark not just convenient but well maintained as every corner is squeaky clean and managed.

Public Utility Vehicles are also available in the area making it ideal for backpackers as well. If you are traveling like me via the Clark International Airport, you can easily hail a cab or book a Grab Car or Taxi as these are also available in Clark. For added convenience, you can also request this service at the Front Desk.

Red Planet Clark is just roughly 5 to 10 minutes away from the Dau Bus Terminal and SM City Clark and around 20 minutes to Clark International Airport. By the way, Clark International Airport is sooooooooo nice! I won't mind travelling from Manila to here again, seriously!

So, if you have any business or leisure here in Clark, Pampanga, you might want to check out Red Planet Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga!
