At the heart of
this commitment lies the Pelagio A. Alvarez Foundation, Inc. (PAAFI),
established in 2010, which serves as the catalyst for various community-centric
initiatives championed by P.A. Properties.
Reflecting on the
company's ethos, Lawyer Marianne Reyna Lina-Cruz, CEO and President of P.A.
Properties, stated, “We hold a profound responsibility to nurture the
well-being of those living both within and beyond our projects.
Giving back to our
communities is ingrained in our culture, and through our ongoing initiatives,
we strive to cultivate enduring relationships with the incredible people who
have embraced us and our projects into their localities.”
Last
year, after a fire incident in Purok 3, Brgy. Sinalhan, Sta. Rosa, , P.A.
Properties, as part of its corporate social responsibility, distributed bags of
rice and water bottles on June 20, 2023, at the Baranggay Hall of Sinalhan.
Together, we strive to provide immediate relief and aid in the recovery process
for the affected community.
P.A. Properties
remains steadfast in its commitment to not only provide quality living spaces
but also to actively contribute to the prosperity and well-being of the
communities it serves.
“As we persist in
our mission to address the housing backlog in the Philippines, P.A. Properties
recognizes its pivotal role in fostering opportunities and growth in rural
areas. Establishing and celebrating relationships with both the residents
within our development projects and those beyond our boundaries are key components
of our role in this endeavor,” added Lina-Cruz.
Through the support
of the Pelagio A. Alvarez Foundation, Inc., the company endeavors to make a
lasting positive impact on the lives of individuals across Southern Luzon,
guided by its new tagline, "Behind Every Home is a Story," which
underscores the company's empathy towards its customers and the community.
As part of its
ongoing commitment, P.A. Properties recently hosted the first-ever
'Akin-ka-na-lang: Preloved Bazaar for-a-cause.' All proceeds from this event
were generously donated to the Pelagio A. Alvarez Foundation Inc., embodying
our commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
One noteworthy
initiative is the monthly feeding program at Cittadini School San Pedro, where
underprivileged communities receive nourishing meals, spearheaded by PAAFI
since February 2018. P.A. Properties' employees and dedicated volunteers
consistently contribute their time to make this impactful program a reality.
Additionally, the
company organizes annual outreach programs, including the heartwarming
Pamaskong Handog, a collaborative effort involving PAAFI, P.A. Properties, and
P.A. Properties-Hankyu Hanshin. Every December, executives, employees, and
volunteers come together to uplift children and families in identified
localities through a festive feeding program and gift-giving activities.
