#AlexReviews: HONOR 200
One thing that I love about mid-range smartphones is that they give us the right number of features to use and enjoy in our daily lives. Not too dense nor too fancy, these mid-range smartphones offer a distinctive look and feel that suits whether for professional or casual use. HONOR, being one of the leaders of innovative yet affordable phones in the market, is here again to share with us their newest gadget, the HONOR 200.
I had the pleasure of using this new HONOR 200 for a week. Though it took quite a short to fully experience it, I had a wonderful experience checking its primary features that I think made it stand out from the other available mid-range phones in the market. Priced at PHP24,999 for its 512GB, this HONOR 200 will be available for pre-order in the Philippine market starting today, in all HONOR concept stores, Shopee, Lazada, and Tiktok Shop.

Remarkable Portrait Camera
The HONOR 200 takes pride in its imaging features, which is more prominent with HONOR’s partnership with Harcourt Studio of Paris. By giving HONOR 200 users the ability to achieve the aesthetic Harcourt photographic portrait, which draws its heritage from the glamour of the golden age of black-and-white French cinema, one can simply create classic art using a modern gadget.
This is such an interesting addition to the smartphone market, which is mainly dominated by photo-loving users. The HONOR 200 portrait imagery capability, will surely up the game in mobile photography, setting new standards and elegance for the next generation of smartphones.
The HONOR 200’s Professional Harcourt Portrait Modes comes in Harcourt Vibrant, Harcourt Color, and Harcourt Classic, which were further enhanced by the HONOR AI Portrait Engine that allows AI imagery to intervene and provide AI Shadow and Light Enhancement, AI Optical Effects Enhancement, and AI Artistic Style Enhancement. For more complex imagery, this HONOR 200 also comes with HDR Dual Style that lets you take HDR Dual Style, Memories, and Instant Movie with a touch of a button.
Its rear cameras, which consist of a 50MP super-large sensor and OIS main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide and macro camera are powered by a Sony IMX906 1/1.56” Sensor and Sony IMX856 Sensor, respectively offering that studio-level portrait result. Meanwhile, for selfie lovers, its front camera has a 50MP resolution offering equally impressive results.
Unbelievable Massive Memory
Heavy usage of HONOR 200, won’t be a problem regardless if you’ll be using it for mobile photography and video shooting, playing online games, or video streaming. Carrying the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, this HONOR 200 lets its users enjoy its strength and capabilities worry-free as it will be available in 12GB+512GB memory capacity. Aside from that, this smartphone will run on AI-powered MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14, providing an efficient and smooth transition that protects your eyes.
Speaking of eyes, HONOR 200 has TÜV RheinlandFlicker Free Certification that brings comfort to our eyes. It has 3840Hz Risk-free PWM Dimming, AI Circadian Night Display, and Low Blue Light that is helpful for those who spend most of their time on their gadgets. Its 6.7-inch AMOLED Quad-curved Display projects a Super Dynamic Vivid Display that brings every image and video to life.
Impressive Battery
The HONOR 200 has a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery, which can be charged using the 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge that is already included in every purchase of this unit. Other connections available in HONOR 200 are 2.4G/5GHz WIFI connectivity, 5.3 Bluetooth, Type C- Connector, and Dual SIM.
The variant of HONOR 200 that I reviewed is the Emerald Green, but this will be also available in Black that matches any style. The HONOR 200 weighs only 187 grams, with a dimension of 161.5mm (L) x 74.6mm (W) x 7.7mm (D). HONOR Philippines is also launching the higher-end version, which is HONOR 200 Pro – which will be for only PHP29,999 for its 512GB variant.
How I wish I had more time to review this as I find the Magic OS interesting – and by interesting, I mean that it offers customized skins that let you personalize our HONOR 200 even more.
