Savor the flavors of Thanksgiving in the skies with Emirates

Emirates will be offering special menus on flights from Dubai - USA - Dubai, between November 23 to 30 to celebrate the occasion of Thanksgiving. Traditional festive fare will also be served in the lounges of Dubai, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco from November 18 to 25.


Customers in First Class are invited to savor elevated traditional dishes like sweet potato soup with succulent poached lobster and chives, followed by Thanksgiving turkey leg roulade with pumpkin purée, cranberry jus lié, Brussels sprouts, steamed green beans, glazed baby carrots, veal bacon strips and roasted pecans. For dessert, First Class customers can sample the seasonal flavors of warm apple fritters with mascarpone cream and cinnamon sugar, key lime tart accented with raspberry coulis, or toffee apple and pecan cake doused with vanilla curd, cherry compote, marshmallows, and pistachios.


In Business and Premium Economy Class, sweet potato soup with a dash of roasted pumpkin oil whets the appetite, before a main course of sliced sous vide turkey, classic cornbread, pumpkin purée, cranberry jus lié, Brussels sprouts, baby carrots and roasted pecans. Customers can then relish a dessert of hearty spiced apple cake with date compote and raspberry curd.

In Economy Class, customers will enjoy a festive chicken roulade with cranberry jus lié, green peas, mashed parsnip with carrots, and baked potatoes with butter and parsley. Followed by a Thanksgiving favorite of pumpkin delice with cinnamon cream, or toffee apple and pecan crumble served with salted caramel sauce and marshmallows - Emirates customers will be well-served with flavors of the season.

For breakfast in First, Business and Premium Economy Class, awaken to the aroma of cinnamon pancakes served with seasonal apple and cranberry compote, and a dollop of pumpkin cream. Combined with complimentary blueberry muffins and aromatic cinnamon rolls – it’s a scrumptious Thanksgiving breakfast.


On the Emirates A380 flights from Dubai to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington DC, customers can also have a Thanksgiving sweet treat in the onboard lounge - pecan cupcakes with luscious cream cheese frosting, or Snickerdoodle Blondies washed down with a selection of premium whiskeys, cocktails, wine, and champagne.

Between the 18 and 25 of November, Thanksgiving can also be enjoyed at the Emirates Lounges in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Travelers will be invited to experience authentic Thanksgiving dishes of rosemary and sage turkey breast with lemon, green olive, and fig stuffing, accompanied by candied sweet potatoes, marshmallow-toasted pecans, roasted winter vegetables of carrots, Brussels sprouts, parsnips and pumpkin, complemented by pistachio and pumpkin-spiced baklava for dessert. Emirates lounges in Dubai will be offering travelers roasted turkey breast with cranberry sauce, irresistible stuffing, glazed chestnuts, new potatoes with rosemary and paprika, roasted root vegetables with Brussels sprouts followed by the Thanksgiving favorite - pumpkin tart.


Enhancing the Thanksgiving mood, customers can settle in to watch the top NFL games on Sport24 including Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys over the Thanksgiving period. There is a wide array of holiday season content within 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment on ice, 80 Academy Award® winning films, over 2,000 movies, 650 TV shows, and 4,000 hours of music, podcasts, and audiobooks across 40 languages. Before a flight, passengers can even browse and pre-select their movies or shows on the Emirates app, which can be synced to ice from the moment of boarding.
