The 32nd SEA Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament Begins 10 May

The 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament will commence in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 10 - 14 May 2023. For the first time, the medal event will feature a standalone tournament for female players (under Female Category) starting 10-11 May 2023. Matches for the Male Category follow from 12-14 May 2023.



The MLBB SEA Games tournament will be held in Naba Theather at NagaWorld 2, Phnom Penh, wherein the teams are divided into two (2) groups. For the female category, the six participating countries are Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Laos, and Vietnam.


All matches will held in a single elimination best-of-one (Bo1) format on 10 May 2023. The top two teams from each group will proceed to duke it out for the championship title and podium finishes.

The championship match will be in a best-of-five (Bo5) match series, scheduled on 11 May. 
 
On the other hand, the MLBB SEA Games Male category will witness nine countries; namely the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Timor Leste, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Indonesia duke it out for gold. The group draw results are as follows:


The teams will undergo the same single elimination Bo1 match series starting with Group A on 12 May 2023.


Group B's playoffs commence on 13 May 2023. See schedule below:


The top two teams from each group will move forward to the next round in a best-of-three (3) series, with the grand final taking place on 14 May 2023  that will feature a best-of-five (Bo5) format. 
 
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has been showcased as a medal event in the Southeast Asian Games since 2019. The first and second iterations were held in the Philippines and Vietnam, respectively.
