With new mobile gadgets being released year after year, maybe its about time that we should refocus our attention on the most neglected aspect that we should always look into – DURABILITY.

Dubbed as the first-ever smartphone in its price point with a Premium OLED Curved Screen, this latest addition to HONOR X Series is set to deliver best-in-class visuals and performance with its high-capacity durable battery, and the Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 695 5G Mobile Platform for heavy-duty users.

Designed to Last
When I unboxed the HONOR X9a 5G, I knew immediately that I’m in for a good treat. Its sleek design gives that sophisticated appeal that is at par with higher level of smart phone. Possessing an attractive Emerald Green color (also available in Titanium Silver), this latest smart phone takes pride on having a 6.67-inch OLED Curved Display that gives its sexy and smooth finish no matter which angle you look at it.

To be honest, I’m not really expecting so much about this given that prior to receiving this review unit, I was already informed that it’s more of an entry-level smart phone. But based on my initial look, touch and feel, I easily grow an attachment to its since it gives that high-end polish and appeal that I really prefer to have.

This HONOR X9a 5G offers 93% screen-to-body ratio with a dimension of 161.6mm in height, 73.9mm in width and 7.9mm in depts. It only weighs about 175 grams, including the battery, which makes it so light and handy.

In terms of memory, the HONOR X9a 5G comes in 6GB + 128GB and in 8GB + 128GB/256GB – such a slim smartphone with huge capacity to store different apps, games, images, video and music.

At Par Performance with Higher Models
Having Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 695 (6nm) at its core, the HONOR X9a 5G possesses an impactful performance set to give you a great value for your money. Complemented by it 5100mAh battery, this one is definitely made for gamers in mind, r even for those who spend most of their time streaming videos.

During the time that I’m trying it out, it actually lasted for more than 2 days until the battery dies. Despite of using it for watching videos, browsing social media accounts and checking my emails, HONOR X9a still managed to exceed my expectation impressing me more and more.

Meanwhile, for mobile photography and selfie lovers, HONOR X9a offers 64MP Ultra-clear Rear Camera, accentuated with 5MP Wide Angle Camera and 2MP Macro Camera. Its Super Triple Camera goes in Honor’s iconic circular camera layout that features a symmetrical Matrix Star Ring camera design at the back.  For its front camera, enjoy its more cohesive and realistic 16MP that offers f/2.45 aperture.

I must admit that I kind worry me to test its camera. When I switch to my unit’s camera application, there were these black lines that appeared. I personally think that it has some upgrade issues. Thankfully when I snap it, the images registered to the phone gave me these clear and really fine-quality images that eased my worries.

The HONOR X9a 5G is retailed at PHP16,990 and will be available in the Philippine market starting.
