Stephanie Poetri Releases New Single “Breakfast in Bed

Today, burgeoning singer-songwriter Stephanie Poetri releases her highly anticipated new single “Breakfast in Bed” (with gnash) via Infinite Thrills/88rising Music.

The new song is a sentimental and dreamy ode to the comfort of a romantic relationship, where Stephanie’s smooth vocals are complemented by renowned artist/songwriter gnash. The accompanying home movie-style music video, directed by Sasha Lebedeva, allows for an intimate glimpse into the type of relationship Stephanie envisions when she sings “Love was scary, but it’s not anymore.” These sentiments, along with the comforting yet upbeat bedroom-pop, coffee shop vibes are exactly what listeners can expect in the next phase of music from Stephanie.

“Breakfast in Bed” (with gnash) follows on the heels of Stephanie’s sophomore EP oh to be in love, released in March of 2022. The project, which chronicles the vulnerability and array of emotions that come along with falling in love, has been streamed on Spotify over 4.7 million times since its release. Stephanie’s success doesn’t stop there–her breakthrough hit, “I Love You 3000,” has garnered over 170 million listens on Spotify and catapulted her further into the spotlight, resulting in her collaborations with artists such as JVKE and Jackson Wang.

Following a stellar performance at 88rising’s Head In The Clouds Festival in Pasadena, CA this summer, Stephanie will be taking the stage again this December, at Head In The Clouds Festival in Jakarta and Manila. The Jakarta iteration takes place on December 3 and 4 at Community Park PIK2 and the Manila festival on December 9 and 10 at SM Festival Grounds Parañque City. Poetri will perform alongside other 88rising artists including NIKI, JOJI, and Warren Hue.  Passes can be purchased here.

Stay tuned for more from Stephanie soon…
